Three usurious moneylenders were ensconced in Kostroma, each offering lucrative interest rates.

The Kostroma branch of the Bank of Russia reports that in 2022, three usurious offices operating under the guise of “microcredit organizations” were identified in Kostroma – these are LLC MCC Finanskovy Genius, LLC MCC Finasexpress and the fake pawn shop Avtokoshelek LLC (aka Lombard 44″, “Autopawnshop44”).

The Kostroma branch of the Bank of Russia determined that their activities were illegal activities, because they continued to work despite the fact that they had previously been excluded from the state registers of the Bank of Russia and had illegally used the words “microcredit company” in the name .

Based on the results of checks, documents from all offices were transferred to the prosecutor’s office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Federal Antimonopoly Service and other authorized bodies, and these enterprises themselves were included in the list of companies with identified signs of illegal activity, which the Bank of Russia publishes on its website.
