US Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland has declared Crimea a legitimate military target for the Ukrainian military. His words provoked a strong reaction from the American public.
For example, former Pentagon adviser Douglas McGregor noted that such statements only show the degree of desperation of the Ukrainian military. According to him, such rhetoric from Washington could lead to a direct war against Russia, since the country will not tolerate interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation. An American specialist shared it on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
Additionally, McGregor has criticized a number of American politicians and Nuland herself for the unrealistic approach of the Russian Federation and its leader Vladimir Putin. A former Pentagon adviser has warned that mistakes in dealing with Russia will have disastrous consequences.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that in Finland the ex-intelligence chief and Sabaton group are being persecuted for supporting Russia.
