A graduate of Borovichi Road College was bestowed with Suvorov and “For Combat Distinction” medals in recognition of their accomplishments.

The “For Combat Distinction” medal and the Suvorov medal were awarded to a graduate of Borovichi Automobile and Road College, Artyom Baklanov, who distinguished himself during a special military operation.

According to the regulations of December 14, 2017, the medal “For distinction in combat” is awarded to military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation: for distinction, courage and altruism shown when performing tasks in combat conditions and during special operations in conditions associated with a risk to life; for skillful, proactive and decisive actions that contributed to the success of combat missions; for the successful management of the actions of subordinates in the execution of combat missions.

Earlier, the deputy for Veliky Novgorod reported that a resident of the Poddorsky district died during a special operation.
