Russian customers arriving in Ethiopia can now apply for a visa upon arrival in the country.
The decision to renew the pre-pandemic visa rules was taken in February, but its entry into force has been delayed for technical reasons.
“Now the visa rule, which is to issue visas on arrival, is in effect. The system has been working since Friday, March 3. So the visa rules for Russians have returned to the 2020 version. “It’s either a visa on arrival, or an electronic visa, or a visa at the embassy. Also, upon arrival, Russians, if necessary, can apply for a transit visa,” ATOR explained to the Ethiopian Embassy in Moscow.
