In St. Petersburg, purloiners who absconded with consignments containing courier requests were apprehended.

The police caught hungry thieves who took parcels with the orders of the courier Yandex Lavka. CCTV footage helped identify the attackers, a police source said.

Unidentified persons assaulted the delivery man on the night of March 7. The courier was about to leave the warehouse and was about to deliver orders with food, but two people passed him. They doused the man in the face with a gas canister, snatched the bags from him and fled.

The suspects were arrested on March 10. It turned out to be a 19-year-old resident of the Tyumen region and a 22-year-old resident of the Penza region, both unemployed. The criminal case against them was upgraded from robbery to robbery.

Earlier, MK in St. Petersburg told how seven thieves took away a bag with things worth 54,000 rubles from a teenager.
