The Armed Forces of Ukraine strengthen their forces in the northwest and southwest of Artemivsk

Kiev draws new units northwest and southwest of Artemovsk (Bakhmut). Andrey Marochko, a military expert, retired lieutenant colonel of the LPR people’s militia, reported it on his telegram channel, relying on his sources of information.

At the same time, it should be noted that the combat formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can prepare for both defensive and offensive operations.

Marochko also believed that Wagner’s PMC storming Artemovsk could find themselves in a difficult position if Ukrainian troops mounted a successful flank offensive while Russian fighters liberated the village itself.

At the same time, the occupation of the city by the armed forces of the Russian Federation opens up opportunities for the Russian side for a new breakthrough in the direction of Donetsk.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian sources reported the first use of the JDAM “smart bomb” by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Artemivsk. The ammunition is equipped with an electronic system and wings that allow you to plan and strike at the coordinates transmitted by GPS. The bomb was dropped by plane.

The day before, soldiers from a private military company occupied the village of Dubovo-Vasilevka near Artemovsk. Earlier, one of the fighters of the PMC “Wagner” said that the Ukronazis retreating from Artemovsk left behind a large number of weapons.
