The Museum and the Parc des Expositions hosted the award ceremony for participants in the “World of Couture” exhibition-competition. The creative project was organized on the initiative of the Serpukhov branch of the Moscow Region Women’s Union.
In total, about 500 creative works by 96 masters were presented. These are embroidery, decorations, dolls made in various techniques, paintings, models of clothes, etc. Since February 26, since the opening of the exhibition, the author’s works have delighted the eyes of visitors with their professionalism and aesthetics.
Throughout the duration of the competition, the IEC welcomed folk art enthusiasts. Since the opening day, the exhibition-competition has been visited by more than 400 residents of Serpukhov and guests of the city.
The purpose of this project is to foster the revelation of a person through creativity, to help express and realize their abilities, and to motivate all those who want to learn how to create beauty.
As part of the solemn event, competitors received certificates, diplomas and gift certificates. In addition, everyone who helped organize the juried exhibition received words of gratitude and gifts. And the Deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma, Tatyana Karzubova, presented letters of thanks to the participants.
The winners were determined in five nominations: “Embroidery”, “Dolls, toys”, “Knitting, felting”, “Accessories, decorations”, “Kaleidoscope”. Also, according to the established tradition, the names of the authors of the works, which won the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place three times, are included in the Honor Book.
