The interview took place inside the Qatar National Museum cafe, which was designed in the shape of a desert rose. Noura Al-Maadadi said: "We were inspired by Desert Rose and this amazing building".
The two sisters emphasized their pride in producing jewelry entirely in Qatar in the workshop of a jeweler in the old market, despite the difficulties due to the weakness of the jewelry industry in Qatar.

Al-Maadadi indicated that the designs were difficult at first, as they did not resemble the shape of a natural flower only, but touches and textures had to be added to give it the shape of a desert rose made of stone.

The desert rose is formed in the ground by the combination of sand, sea water, gypsum and wind to form a crystalline desert rose with petals similar to a natural rose.
