Philippines: A Philippine contingent of Taiwanese capitalists arrived, with ten firms mulling over the possibility of registering with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and the Board of Investments (BOI).

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) hosted a delegation of Taiwanese investors on the 6th, consisting of representatives of 10 manufacturing and logistics companies. Representatives from eight manufacturing companies and two logistic companies will visit the country for six days and aim to register their businesses with PEZA or the Board of Investment (BOI). Panga said there are currently 109 Taiwanese companies registered with PEZA. (11th, Manila Times)
