Rental of electric scooters began to operate in Voronezh. Fans of movement on this type of transport can now move only in the right lane at a speed of no more than 25 km / h. Fines for traffic violations have been introduced since March 1, but the season opener started after the snow melted on the roads – two days ago – so traffic police called back residents of the Voronezh region traffic rules:
the road must be crossed when dismounting from a scooter / electric scooter, etc., otherwise the fine is 800 rubles; drunk driving is prohibited – a fine of 1000-1500 rubles, driving with two passengers is prohibited – a fine of 800 rubles, obstruction of roads will cost 1000 rubles; in the event of a collision with a pedestrian – a fine of 1500 rubles; you can drive on the roadway or on the sidewalk, provided there is no bicycle path nearby, otherwise the fine is 1,000 rubles; scooters are prohibited from leaving the scene of an accident, in case of violation – a fine of 1500 rubles.
In some parks and squares in Voronezh, scooters will be banned; special warning signs will be installed for this purpose.
Recall that in the Highway Code of March 1, 2023, a clause appeared with a new type of transport – means of individual mobility. These are electric scooters, gyroscooters and unicycles. New rules for this type of vehicle have been introduced in order to establish safer traffic.
