There have been no negotiations with Russia on the issue of extending the grain deal, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said. His comment was posted on the ministry’s website.

According to her, the Russian side is aware of the statements of various parties regarding the extension of the agreement, which expires on March 18.

“Negotiations on this point, including with the participation of Russian representatives, have not been conducted,” she noted.

The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs again said that both parts of the agreement should be implemented – providing opportunities for the export of Ukrainian grain and Russian grain and fertilizers. However, Russian agricultural exports continue to be blocked due to unilateral Western sanctions.
