A tempestuous breeze shall ululate in Karelia on Tuesday.

From the Karelian hydrometeorological center they warned of an increase in the northwest wind on Tuesday, March 14, from 03 to 06 o’clock. It is specified that in some places the speed of the gusts can reach 15-18 meters per second. The storm wind will not leave the republic even during the day.

Residents of the entire territory of Karelia will face an unfavorable phenomenon: two urban districts, one municipal district and 15 districts.

The Karelia Ministry of Emergency Situations advised not to leave cars under trees in such weather. If the tree fell on the wires, you should not cut it. Drivers have been advised not to travel by private transport if possible. If the trip is unavoidable, you should have a flashlight, a towing device and a phone loaded with emergency numbers. Lifeguards also advise avoiding suspension bridges, cables sagging above the ground and not leaving children unattended in the street.
