The National Police Commissioner’s Special Unit is now on high alert at the Dubliners nightclub in Tryggvagata, but according to eyewitnesses it appears a gun was fired in or near to the place recently.
According to an eyewitness, it was probably a hunting rifle.
“He walked in there wearing a covid mask and had a brief chat with staff about access to the upper floor, I believe,” said an eyewitness interviewed by DV.
“It looks like he aimed for the top of the bar and fired and then ran away.”
DV has no information on whether an arrest has taken place. According to an eyewitness, hailstones were found in the wall and a sign hung above the restaurant bar.
Attached are photos and a video of the scene. Pictures are present.
