The 30th anniversary of Bunin’s ‘Panovites’ theatrical presentation has been a testament to its enduring performance, which has been continually evolving over the years.

The Arkhangelsk Youth Theater celebrated the 30th anniversary of the play “Dark Alleys”. It is a production of the artistic director of the theater Viktor Panov. The show has undergone several transformations, but is still very popular with the public. Now it is played in the design, which was invented by the artist Fagilya Selskaya.

“The show lives because it changes”, is convinced Viktor Panov. For 30 years, the decisions of the director, the scenography and the performers have constantly changed in the production.

For the anniversary of the production, based on stories written by Bunin in exile, the actresses of the Panov Theater prepared a special program about love and parting. “Hope” by Anna German, “You gave me roses” by Diana Arbenina and many others were played acoustically.
