The Kaliningrad region has seen a rise in joblessness.

At the end of January 2023, unemployment increased in the Amber Region. Note that the figure has increased significantly from the January 2022 figure.

Thus, in the employment centers in total in the region, 5,657 people were officially registered as unemployed, including 4,002 citizens who obtained the status of unemployed. The information was shared by experts from Kaliningradstat. They cited data from the Ministry of Social Policy of the Kaliningrad region.

In addition, department experts also published data that in January 2023, 632 people living in the Kaliningrad region became the official unemployed with the assigned status. This shows that there are 64 more unemployed people in the region, or 11.3% more than in January 2022.

Earlier, MK in Kaliningrad wrote that a resident of the Kaliningrad region filed a lawsuit, where she complained about a neighbor who kept birds on the site.
