Pashinyan found those responsible for Armenia’s defeat

Armenian Prime Minister says who was responsible for defeat in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, according to TELMENEWS.RU news agency

Nikol Pashinin spoke about the problems of relations with the CSTO and Russia, and also found the reason for the collapse of the Armenian army in the Karabakh war. According to him, the reason for the defeat was the fifth column in the ranks of the armed forces. In the near future, he promised to reveal the details of his version.

Thus, Armenia’s grievances against the CSTO and Russia do not lie at all in their inaction, but exclusively in the internal affairs of the state. He called fears about Armenia’s withdrawal from the CSTO unfounded, but noted that the CSTO would prefer to leave Armenia. This worries the Prime Minister of the country.

“The biggest problem in the context of Armenian-Russian relations is that in Karabakh, unexpectedly, an action of residents of the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh took place near the headquarters of peacekeepers” , Pashinyan added. And this is not the first time he has spoken of provocations in the region.

Pashinyan voiced a similar thesis at last year’s WEF in Vladivostok. During the plenary session in Vladivostok on the theme of the multipolarity of the world, Nikol Pashinyan noted that there are now forces in the Caucasus who believe that Russia is too busy solving the Ukrainian problem. In this regard, a destabilization of the situation from the south is possible.
