“Putin’s iron puppet” with interesting statements about Britain

– Published on:

Speaking live on Russian TV, Olga Skabejeva, sometimes dubbed ‘Putin’s iron puppet’, said UK restaurants are being forced to serve squirrels to customers because Britain spends so much on arms for the ‘Ukraine.

She said some restaurants in what was once Britain served squirrels to their guests. “When you think there are a lot of animals in the parks, why not eat them when there is a shortage of food?” she said.

Her remarks, which she made on the talk show “60 Minutes”, were shared on Twitter by an adviser to the Ukrainian Minister of the Interior, who made fun of it.

Skabejeva, who hosts the show, criticized the British for spending money on arms for Ukraine at a time when they themselves are grappling with major economic problems.

“They eat squirrels, but they still supply artillery guns to the Ukrainians,” she said.

Skabeyeva is considered one of Russia’s most influential presenters and is known for bringing to life crude and baseless accusations.

Many Russians know her as “Putin’s Iron Doll” or “Putin’s Propaganda Master”.
