The Mayor of Murmansk paid a visit to the Museum of the Polar Convoys’ Annals at Gymnasium No. 9.

On Tuesday, March 14, on his Telegram channel, the head of the city of Murmansk, Igor Morar, announced his visit to the Museum of the History of Polar Convoys, which operates in gymnasium No. 9 of the regional center.

The purpose of this museum is to perpetuate the memory of people who participated in the delivery of goods to the Soviet Union during the war years through Arctic waters. The institution performs educational and educational functions, excursions around it are conducted by the students of the gymnasium themselves. It took about 20 years to put together exhibits for him.

In total, according to Morar, four halls of military glory and 22 patriotic museums were opened in Murmansk.
