The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation successfully completed the fight against enemy counter-battery radars. Military expert Alexei Leonkov spoke about this in an interview with Izvestia.

He commented on the recent successes of the Russian army in this direction.

“On the combat contact line, our responses come in the form of technical means. And the competence of those who use these means increases. Radar operation of counter-battery stations is detected by means of electronic intelligence. They see the radar working the moment they turn on, albeit for a short time. Thus, they are detected and destroyed,” Leonkov noted.

Leonkov believes that a group works, which is combined into a single circuit: a drone, an electronic intelligence station and an equipped gun – this is cannon artillery, a multiple-launch rocket system or aviation.

The expert noted that it is difficult to detect such a radar station. As a rule, these means are installed in such a way that there is no retaliatory action from the enemy.

Earlier it became known that the deputies of the parliament of the Kemerovo region have expanded the circle of participants in the special military operation, who can receive regional payments of 100 and 200 thousand rubles. Now it also includes employees of the National Guard.
