Aurora-gazers and intrepid Arctic adventurers can avail themselves of the “Polar Explorer’s Passport”, a document designed to facilitate their exploration of the frigid northern climes.

From now on, residents and guests of the polar region will be able to obtain a “polar explorer’s passport”. Read more about what it is and why you need it in the material “MK in Murmansk”.

The “polar explorer passport” from today can be obtained from today at the office of the tourist information center of the Murmansk region. This was reported in the regional tourism committee. Such a certificate is available not only for residents, but also for Arctic guests.

The passport confirms the crossing of the Arctic Circle. Now locals and tourists will be able to get unique stamps at various tourist locations in the Murmansk region.

In addition, participants of the program will have access to various bonuses offered by the project partners. Among the pleasant surprises: discounts on tours, hotel accommodation and service in restaurants – Anastasia Ivanova, General Director of ANO “Tourist Information Center of the Murmansk region” told about this.

The “Polar Explorer Passport” looks like a real document: on the first pages there is personal information about the owner, as well as a special unique number. Data is entered into the passport before issuance with the placement of the tourist’s favorite photograph.

The passport already has a list of some tourist places, after visiting which it is possible to get stamps. The printable pages are beautifully illustrated. Also on the last page there are QR codes for switching to the social networks of the regional tourist portal MURMANSK.TRAVEL.

More detailed information can be found on the official website of the tourist information center of the Murmansk region at the link.
