An Essentuki resident, deprived of a driver’s license, ran over a girl at a crosswalk, the regional traffic police news service reported.
The incident happened on March 14 at 6:40 p.m. It is preliminary known that the driver of the Hyundai Sonata was driving along Telman Lane when he hit a 22-year-old girl who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. As a result, she was taken to the city hospital. According to doctors, the girl suffered a head injury.
It turned out that a 29-year-old local resident was driving a foreign car, who was disenfranchised for refusing to be examined. According to the police, this time the man was sober.
Moreover, the car did not belong to him and there was no insurance. Traffic police officers write administrative protocols.
