Today, March 15, the press service of the town hall of Orel reports a new surprise, which prepares the inhabitants of the regional center of the source – the lowlands of the city flooded with water. However, this morning its level stabilized and slowly started to drop.

Today, a meeting of the commission for the elimination of emergency situations was held, during which the mayor of Orel, Yuri Parakhin, heard a report on the current situation. During the meeting, it was recalled that the critical threshold at which the territories are flooded is 8.66 meters.

Yesterday at 6.00 p.m. the water level was 6.67 meters, at midnight – 6.79 meters, at 10.00 a.m. – 6.75 meters. In the morning the water level started to drop, but tomorrow it will rain again.
