The Pentagon spoke simultaneously with the Dutch Ministry of Defense. The US Department of Defense has specified the number of German Leopard tanks ready to be sent to Ukraine.

According to US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, at the moment nine countries have pledged to supply about 150 such tanks.

It should be noted that at the moment Ukrainian crews are in the process of learning how to use American Abrams tanks, which Washington has previously said about its reluctance to provide. In addition, Ukrainian pilots are now training at an air base in the United States. Military pilots are trained to fly American F – 16 aircraft. True, so far only on simulators.
