In the near future, Poland will transfer four MiG-29 fighters to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In the coming days, Poland is ready to transfer four MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine, reports Reuters with reference to President Andrzej Duda.
- We can literally say that we send MiGs to Ukraine. We have more than a dozen in stock at the moment,” the head of state said in a speech.
As Glavny Regionalny previously reported, in early March Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Ukraine may receive MiG-29 fighters. The planes, which are available to Warsaw and are in working order, will be transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This is the first transfer of aircraft to the enemy by Western countries in the history of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
