The founder of Wagner PMC and Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin denied reports of the participation of “musicians” in hostilities in Sudan. He spoke about it in the response to the reporter from the American edition of the New York Times.

A Kenyan journalist clarified whether the “musicians” were taking part in hostilities in Sudan. According to him, the PMC plans to support Chadian rebel forces and overthrow the Chadian president. Prigogine responded with an unequivocal denial.

Also, Prigozhin noted that such statements are a provocation that has nothing to do with reality. He called the journalist a petty provocateur and advised not to suck stories for foreign media out of thin air.

  • Mr. Walsh, we have repeatedly answered these questions that we have nothing to do with the Chadian rebels or with Mr. Hamedti. You are a little provocateur trying to snatch various stories about Africa out of his finger,” the Russian businessman said.
