Guests of the book opening await meetings with two dozen Russian writers and poets. And families with children can expect a program of master classes and a large number of exciting children’s books.

By the way, meetings and discussions with the participation of Russian writers Leonid Yuzefovich, Roman Senchin and Alexei Varlamov, as well as Ales Kozhedub, who writes stories in Russian and Belarusian about the war, post-childhood war, the life of the Belarusian hinterland, will take place on the site Books from Russia.

Speaking about the key event of the anniversary exhibition, its organizers highlight the upcoming presentation of the project “Contemporary Literature of the CIS Countries”. First, three volumes of the anthology will be presented in the Belarusian capital: “Modern literature of the CIS countries. Prose”, “Modern children’s literature of the CIS countries” and “Modern literature of the CIS countries. Poetry” .
Undoubted interest should arouse in readers acquaintance with the translation of modern Russian prose and poetry into the Belarusian language, in which famous writers Sineokoy took part.

And the anthology of modern prose, according to the agency, includes works by almost a hundred authors from eleven countries. The volume of this fundamental edition exceeds 1200 pages. It contains fragments of works written over the past 30 years in all the languages ​​of the former Soviet Union. There are Belarusian writers among the authors of the novelty: the Belarusian people’s writer Nikolai Cherginets, the winners of state and literary prizes Ivan Saverchenko, Vladimir Salamakha, Georgy Marchuk, Viktor Pravdin, Vladimir Gavrilovich, the agency notes .

Vivid images, reflections on the fate of generations, a philosophical understanding of life are also distinguished by the poems of CIS poets, which are also included in the poetic anthology. Among them, a special place is occupied by Belarusian masters: the author of the anthem Vladimir Karizna, the lyricist Vladimir Mozgo.


No less solidly representative is the volume of children’s literature, it systematizes the works of almost a hundred of the best contemporary authors. The Belarusian pages in it are related to the work of writers whose works have long been loved by the young reader – this is Nikolai Chernyavsky, Nina Galinovskaya. And the best literary traditions of their predecessors are continued by Ales Karlyukevich, Elena Stelmakh, Ekaterina Khadasevich-Lisovaya.

A separate program of the exhibition will be presented by the Liter group of companies, which is considered the market leader in electronic and audio books in Russia and the Commonwealth countries. In addition, book lovers are expected at the Moscow House, where a scientific and practical seminar “Duty, responsibility, time: a modern image of the world through the prism of Russian literature” will be held with the participation of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature and the Professional Community of Russian Specialists in Belarus.
