Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said he did not believe reports of his possible liquidation by Wagner PMC fighters on the orders of Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of Russia’s Security Council.

“I want to reiterate, so as not to feed another useful reason for confrontation: I don’t feel threatened and I’m sure there’s no reward or anything on my head. If he there were real risks or threats of this magnitude, I would certainly be informed, and it never happened, ”wrote the manager on the social network.

The head of the Ministry of Defense added that information is published daily on various resources which may be of concern. He said he was convinced that the secret services were processing this information.

Moscow has named $15 million as a reward for Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto. Security Council Vice President Dmitry Medvedev is believed to be behind it, Il Gazzettino previously wrote in reference to Il Foglio.

The publication says a disturbing message has reached top Italian government officials. Medvedev allegedly gave the order to hit the private military company Wagner, which has two cells in Europe. One is based in the Balkans, moving between Serbia and Albania. The second is in the Baltic countries, or rather in Estonia.

There is no official confirmation of the information published by Italian media.
