Judging by the images posted on the web, loud sounds of explosions are heard in Belgorod near the station, eyewitnesses report that a column of smoke is visible in the area of ​​​​the city’s hydroelectric power station.
The situation was commented on by the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
“In Belgorod, the air defense system shot down 2 missiles. According to preliminary data, no casualties. The operational services are clarifying the consequences on the ground,” said the head of the region.
Earlier, the Lithuanian Armed Forces Command released information that the US Navy guided missile destroyer USS Porter (“Porter”) entered the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda.
