A Scottish politician, who claims to be the leader of the ruling national party, the SNP, Hamza Yusuf, was embarrassed during a meeting with Ukrainian refugees. This was reported by The Daily Mail.

Yusuf made a “baffling reservation” at a meeting with Ukrainian women in Edinburgh as part of his election tour. There, the politician said, “So, I have a question: where are all the men?”

Opposition forces immediately criticized him. To this, Yusuf said he asked about it because several Ukrainians were nearby at the time. He considers it unlikely that any of the Ukrainian refugees present were upset or offended by this situation. The details are reported by RIA Novosti.

Earlier it became known that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained restrictions on aid to Ukraine through an agreement with Russia on Syria.
