Salad “Mimosa” – few older generations do not know this dish. Absolutely affordable ingredients, easy to prepare and very tasty. There are many recipes, but the classics will always remain in fashion.

Classic: Mimosa Salad

Cuisine: Russian, starter, calories: 225, cooking time: 01h30

Ingredients

Canned sardines – 300 gr;

Mayonnaise – 200 gr.;

Hard cheese – 100 gr.;

Eggs – 4 pieces

Potato – 2 pieces;

Carrots – 2 pieces;

Onion – 1 pc.

Dill – 10 gr.;

Salt – to taste.

Recipe

Let’s prepare everything you need.

  1. Wash and boil the potatoes and carrots (do not peel them).
  2. Boil the eggs.
  3. Cool carrots, potatoes and eggs.
  4. Peel and finely chop a small onion. Then there are two options: you can simply pour boiling water over it well, you can marinate it in 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar for 15 minutes.
  5. Three potatoes and carrots on a medium grater – the finer the grater you choose, the more tender the salad will be.
  6. We clean the eggs, separate the proteins from the yolks.
  7. Separately, rub the squirrels on a medium grater.
  8. Rub the yolks in a separate bowl on a fine grater (reserve a little for decoration).
  9. Open a jar of canned fish, drain the liquid and knead directly in the jar with a fork.

If you like a lot of fish, you can take two cans.

  1. Rub the cheese on a medium grater.
  2. My dill, dry and finely chopped.

You can now collect the salad.

  1. We take a culinary ring about 20 cm in diameter.
  2. Arrange the ingredients in layers.

  3. First layer: Spread the potatoes evenly and cover with mayonnaise.

A layer of mayonnaise is an amateur, I make a thin layer.

  1. Second layer: grated carrots, and another thin layer of mayonnaise,
  2. We put pickled onion in the next layer (for an amateur – you can skip it).

  3. Third layer: cheese, and more mayonnaise.

  4. Fourth layer: canned fish. Sprinkle with herbs and drizzle with mayonnaise.

  5. Fifth layer: yolks. Mayonnaise.

  6. Sixth layer: shredded protein. Mayonnaise.

Let’s start decorating.

  1. Level the surface of the salad.
  2. On the outer edge of the salad we form sprigs of mimosa from the sprigs of yolk and dill.

  3. Carefully remove the candy circle.

  4. Put in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, you can overnight.

ENJOY YOUR FOOD!
