In the Yaroslavl region, unknown vandals tore down the banner of Victory

The residents of Danilov learned last week with sorrow that the Victory Banner had been torn from the house where their wonderful countryman, Hero of the Soviet Union previously lived.

The victory banner was hung at house No. 90 along Peterburgskaya Street and was hung in December 2022. This house was where Mikhail Ivanovich Koptev, a participant in the Second World War, a fighter pilot lived Soviet soldier, Hero of the Soviet Union. In 2022, Danilov solemnly celebrated his centenary.

At the beginning of last week, the absence of a banner on the house and a crooked tree were noted by Vladimir Ilibaev, a resident of the house, a veteran.

The vandal who cut the banner is already wanted. Vladimir Amosov, head of the Danilov administration, has already said that all measures have been taken to find the villain who tore down the holy flag. The red banner was once again installed on the house in a solemn atmosphere.
