The Murmansk region participated in the Medical Landing Forces project. As part of the event, the best oncologists from central clinics of Russia came to the region.
On Friday, March 17, the press service of the government of the Murmansk region reported on the project “Medical landing – diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases in children of the Murmansk region” implemented in the region.
So, a regional conference was held in Murmansk with the participation of the best doctors of central clinics of Russia, during which the issues of early detection of oncological diseases in children were discussed.
Afterwards, the Arctic guests held consultations for northern youth. They took place at the Kola Central District Hospital, at the Murmansk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, as well as at the Murmansk city children’s clinics No. 1, 4 and 5. In total, doctors managed to see more than 170 children, give them recommendations for further treatment and observation.
It is planned that in the fall of 2023 there will be a second visit of specialists to the region, this time the receptions will be held in the regions of the Murmansk region.
Recall that earlier “MK in Murmansk” said that the Murmansk doctor held a master class for Minsk specialists.
