Opening of polling stations in Salavat Cooper and Kuyuki in Kazan

The new numbering of polling stations was discussed at a meeting of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan: it was decided to liquidate 39 polling stations and create 8 new ones, reports the CEC of Tatarstan.

The approximation of borders provides for the creation of polling stations in localities where there are new microdistricts, the abolition of those where there are fewer voters. Polling stations are not just being liquidated, they will be expanded, the Central Election Commission said.

The consolidation will affect eleven rural districts of the republic: Agryzsky, Aktanyshsky, Aksubaevsky, Alekseevsky, Atnyansky, Apastovsky, Bavlinsky, Buinsky, Zainsky, Kamsko-Ustyinsky, Menzelinsky.

It was also decided to open new sites in the suburbs of the capital: in the residential complexes “Spring”, “Salavat Kupere”, “Svetlaya Dolina”, “Art City”, in the village of Kuyuki, Pestrechinsky district .

A new polling station will be opened in a new residential area in Nizhnekamsk.
