The governor of the Omsk region, Alexander Burkov, was in danger. This was stated by the chairman of the Center for the Development of Regional Policy, Ilya Grashchenkov.

“The governor has started again and the renewal of the regional political system should still take place, at least 5-6 resignations are to be expected”, wrote the political scientist in his Telegram channel.

As a wake-up call, Grashchenkov mentioned the resignation of the head of Chukotka, Roman Kopin, in office since 2008. In his place, President Vladimir Putin appointed the day before the now First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the People’s Republic of Lugansk , Vladislav Kuznetsov.

According to the expert, the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss, the head of Khakassia Valentin Konovalov and the head of the Orel region Andrey Klychkov are in limbo about this. During this time, everyone who was not reassigned fell into the risk zone. Among these heads of regions Alexander Burkov.

Earlier it was reported about the special attention of the Prosecutor General’s Office to the shortcomings of the authorities of the Omsk region. The day before, the head of the department, Igor Krasnov, reported to Vladimir Putin about the problems in the housing sector and communal services – horror films can literally be shot in emergency houses in the region.
