Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said on Friday that Ukrainian troops could simultaneously defend Bakhmut (Artemivsk) and launch an offensive against Zaporizhzhia, in particular Berdyansk.
“Don’t think they don’t have enough strength,” Rogov said.
He added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have enough fighters, given that they keep a minimum of troops in the direction of Kherson.
Rogov also explained why he considers a Ukrainian attack on Berdyansk to be the most likely. According to him, this is the simplest action for the Ukrainian side, which can be done without taking Tokmok or Melitopol.
“It’s just that by bypassing these relatively large cities, you go directly to the sea in order to cut off the land corridor,” he said.
Previously, Rogov had repeatedly noted that the number of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia leadership was constantly increasing.
