Russia: In the Kursk region began repairs of the Lgov-Kiev station

In the Lgovsky district of the Kursk region, the repair of the passenger infrastructure began at the Lgov-Kiev station. This was reported by the Transport and Roads telegram channel of the Kursk region.

Currently, work is in progress on the island platform n°2. The workers replaced the asphalt with granite slabs. In addition, a contrasting touch line and a ramp appeared on the platform.

There are also plans to modernize the exterior of the station and the interior. The workers will carry out cosmetic repairs to the facade, replace the entrance groups and the floors of the waiting rooms.

There will be green areas at the station. There are plans to repair two more platforms. The work should be completed by the end of this year.
