In Turkey, it is forbidden to refuel aircraft of American manufacturers, as well as to provide related services to these liners if they are connected to the Russian Federation and Belarus. It is reported by AirportHaber with reference to the Ministry of Customs and Trade of Turkey.
According to this decision, from March 14, services for aircraft manufactured in the United States and under Russian-Belarusian control are no longer provided.
This means that refueling and other related services are no longer available for private, cargo, commercial or charter aircraft, or for aircraft manufactured in any other country and containing more than 25% US raw materials if they are to Russia or Belarus.
This decision was made based on a letter from the US Department of Commerce’s Office of Industry Export Practices and Security.
