A tourist robbed a Sevastopol candy seller for a round sum

In Sevastopol, a 41-year-old resident of the Sverdlovsk region was arrested after stealing chocolate worth 20,000 rubles.

    The detention took place at a gas station near the market at the fifth kilometer.  There the man unsuccessfully tried to hide from the sellers of the confectionery.  The workers ran after him shouting "Arrest the thief!".  The gas station staff called the police.

According to the National Guard press office, the brigade that arrived on the scene searched the suspect. He had with him a sports bag filled to the brim with chocolate. According to preliminary estimates, in the amount of 20,000 rubles.

Checking documents showed the man had multiple prior convictions. He was handed over to the police for further investigation.
