Ukrainian authorities are upset with the support that the country’s ordinary population gives to the idea of peace talks with Moscow, reports TASS quoting Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya.

According to the Russian diplomat, in early March, Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov complained that the country’s citizens were increasingly in favor of peace talks between Kiev and Moscow.

“In other words, the Kiev regime is saddened by the fact that Ukrainian citizens want peace with our country. Comments, as they say, are superfluous, underlined Vasily Nebenzya.

Earlier, the “Main Regional” reported that, according to the chairman of the movement “We are with Russia” Vladimir Rogov, the Ukrainian authorities are afraid of unrest among ordinary citizens. Residents are increasingly returning to the idea of peace negotiations with the Russian Federation.
