The off-site meeting of the Committee for Social Policy and Health of the Moscow Regional Duma was held at the Yasenki Center for Social and Medical Rehabilitation. During it, the participants discussed topical issues of rehabilitation of SVO participants and people with disabilities of the Moscow region.
The press service of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Moscow region reported that the meeting was attended by deputies of the Moscow regional Duma, representatives of the Ministry of Social Development and Health of the Moscow region and other employees of the departments concerned. Ombudsman Irina Faevskaya suggested creating a special pension for NWO members.
In these pensions, SVO participants could live permanently. The Ombudsman said that it is necessary to take into account the different life situations of servicemen. For example, if a person lives alone and needs to recover from a serious injury.
