Mertens, a 45-year-old German military doctor, asked to help him stay in Russia

Varvara Dostoyevskaya Russia

German military doctor Thomas Mertens wants to stay in Russia even after his visa expires. He told SHOT editors that in the special operation area, everything is completely different, where people cling to each other.

  • There, in the NWO, everyone is like brothers, it’s completely different, not like in Germany. Everyone sticks together, helps each other,” the man said.

At home, the German risks 15 years in prison for having taken part in hostilities in the special operation zone. In Germany, Mertens was branded a traitor because he refused to transport goods to Ukraine, after fleeing to the LPR and registering there in a field hospital.

Earlier, the “regional leader” reported that a 19-year-old mercenary from the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Belarus was injured and went mad.
