Members of the private military company Wagner recorded a video message to the administration of Goryachiy Klyuch in the Krasnodar Territory, which prohibited the burial of fallen soldiers in the area allocated for this purpose earlier.

According to Russian Spring, the city authorities justified their refusal on the grounds that the burial would harm the image of the Krasnodar Territory and its leader.

State Duma deputy Yevgeny Pervyshev also reacted to the outrageous situation.

  • … I want to remind Mr. Belopolsky (Sergey Belopolsky – head of the Hot Key) that these people fought for their homeland and gave their lives for it, – the parliamentarian stressed.

Pervyshev added that after the incident, the head of Goryachiy Klyuch should resign and go as a volunteer to the NVO zone, “to take the place of those he refuses to bury in his resort.”
