The founder of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, noted a sharp increase in the flow of volunteers to the military structure, sometimes the numbers reach up to 1,200 people per day. At the same time, the average displayed for the recruitment of fighters remains in the range of 500 to 800 people per day, reports the press service according to the words of the Russian businessman.

Prigogine did not rule out that in the future the number of recruits could decrease. However, by mid-May, the number of soldiers in Wagner units will increase by about 30,000 people, he said.

In addition, the proportion of physically well-trained and active recruits in PMCs has increased significantly – previously it was 30%, while 11% needed some adjustment. Now 100% of candidates have good physical training, Prigozhin stressed.

Earlier, Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin explained why the fighters receive the highest honor among all available “musicians”. He noted that for the entire existence of these awards, only 26 have been awarded.
