The Moscow bars Underdog and La Virgen, opened by the same team of restaurateurs, were controlled by law enforcement agents suspected of being involved in financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there are detainees, informed TASS in reference to law enforcement.

Announcements were posted on the social media accounts of both establishments stating that they were closed to visitors on March 17 and 18. “Today we will be closed indefinitely at the request of the police. We will tell you all the details later or you will learn them from friends, ”according, in particular, in the online accounts Underdog.

OVD-Info* sources specified that the police arriving at the bars had sledgehammers and stun guns in their hands. The TASS interlocutor added that the security forces checked individual visitors.

According to the human rights center “OVD-Info” *, customers and bar workers were arrested, as well as allegedly strength draw a certain girl at the door of one of the “Z – for Russia” institutions, and a man in a uniform with the emblem of the National Guard observed her actions.

After the security forces arrived at the Underdog bar, they changed the musical accompaniment and started playing the songs of singer Shaman and the band Lyube, the songs Blue Handkerchief and My Black Horse.

Lawyer Konstantin Erokhin told SOTA that electric shocks were used against several detainees who were taken to Basmanny police station. According to unconfirmed reports, security forces forced someone to sing the Russian anthem.

Last summer, La Virgen’s online accounts posted a message about selling vinyl records. The authors of the message promised to send the proceeds of the recordings to the Ukrainian charitable foundation. Soon, activists who supported the military operation in Ukraine complained about them. After that, the bar’s founders said their network accounts were hacked, and someone else wrote about selling the records.
