Representatives of Slovakia and Ukraine signed an intergovernmental agreement on the donation to Kiev of 13 MiG-29 fighters, as well as 2 Kub anti-aircraft missile systems. This is reported by the TASR news agency.
Earlier, the Slovak government approved the transfer of 13 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine, Prime Minister Eduard Heger said. Along with the MiG-29, the government also decided to donate the Kub air defense system to Ukraine.
Bratislava is waiting for compensation for planes from the United States and the EU. It should be noted that its amount will be 900 million dollars.
