On Saturday, March 18, in the Lotos-Plaza shopping and entertainment complex, an exhibition and distribution of cats “March Cats” took place, organized by the First Petrozavodsk Public Animal Shelter.
The event was launched on the ground floor next to the pet store. A charity table with crafts and souvenirs has also been set up for visitors.
This time, the exhibition-distribution of cats pleasantly surprised the organizers, because fluffy creatures in need of a family attracted the attention of many residents of the Karelian capital. Svetlana Goncharova, curator, volunteer and organizer of the cat festival, said that when we arrived, 15 cats were placed in good hands. In the end, 21 animals left the exhibition.
At the same time, 15 cats from the shelter and 10 purring creatures kept by the curators were waiting for a miracle at the exhibition-distribution.
“We are very happy and happy that so many cats have been reunited with their families today, a lot of help has been given to the shelter. It is great that people now know about our exhibits and are deliberately coming to us with carriers,” said Svetlana Goncharova.
We visited a feline event and spoke to residents of Petrozavodsk, who decided to take a new family member home.
