One of the highlights of the sports program, the agency specifies, was the presentation of a new type – the “Belarusian bench press”. It involves simultaneously lifting two weights from a lying position for five minutes, explained the hero of the day.

Upon approaching the start, Khoronenko set the first record for this appointment in the age category over 60, lifting weights weighing 24 kg 83 times, having already recorded the 170th record in his active. By the way, Horoneko, according to news portals, entered the Guinness Book of World Records six times. In addition, he is a seventy-time world record holder in free weightlifting. And since no one can break many of his records yet, he is forced to improve them himself.

The second initiator of the new project, the President of the National Powerlifting Association, Viktor Matsur, who competes in the age category up to 60 years, lifted 40 kg weights 33 times.

Confirmed his high class and another Belarusian strongman Sergei Zaslavsky. In the weight category of 82.5 kg, he set a new world record in the extreme lifting of the barbell for biceps – 102.5 kg.

The next big start for masters of motor sports will be the tournament dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the sports company Dynamo, which will be held in the Belarusian capital at the end of April, the agency reports.
