In Kostroma, a mobile application “People’s Inspector” is being developed

The Department of Digital Development of the Kostroma regional administration reports that in our region, as part of the program for the development of a system of digital services, a mobile application “People’s Inspector” is being developed.

The need to create such a program was recently emphasized by the governor of the Kostroma region, Sergei Sitnikov, who demanded that Kostroma’s IT specialists create a reliable feedback channel through which the inhabitants of the city and region could bring information about various unrest and violations to the authorities.

It is assumed that the new application based on the GIS program will update three areas of work – to ensure the receipt of reports of traffic violations, in the field of landscaping and in the field of protection environment and nature management.

Thanks to the new application, residents of Kostroma will be able to report the parking of cars in unauthorized places, the organization of unauthorized dumps, acts of vandalism, etc. To do this, it will be enough to register the fact of the violation in the photo, indicate the location of the event and send a message to the service’s website, from where it will be automatically forwarded for response to specialized services .

It is planned that the application “People’s Inspector” will work in the regional center by the end of 2023, and in the districts of the region – by the summer of 2024.
