Vsevolozhsk district police received a message that a 29-year-old unemployed man from the Novgorod region tried to strangle his acquaintances. This was announced in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
The man was visiting an apartment in Murino. According to preliminary data, a quarrel broke out between acquaintances, during which the man began to beat his opponents with his hands, and then strangled him. The victims were a 30-year-old resident of Veliky Novgorod and his 33-year-old acquaintance from the Kursk region.
Police arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect. Following the incident, a criminal case was opened under the attempted murder article.
