Qatar Charity announced that it will organize an Umrah trip for 20 orphans who are sponsored by it in Pakistan, as part of the comprehensive care programs of the initiative "buddies" affiliated. Mr. Youssef Abdullah Al-Khulaifi, general supervisor of the initiative, said "buddies" Childhood and Orphan Care Worldwide affiliated to Qatar Charity: Organizing the Umrah trip falls within the framework of Qatar Charity’s keenness on comprehensive care for its orphans sponsored through an initiative "buddies", and motivate them to excel in different aspects, and allocate different activities for them that contribute to the development of their knowledge, and improve their various abilities, and entertain themselves. Al-Khulaifi noted that the selection of the orphans who participated in this trip was based on their excellence in memorizing the Holy Qur’an, their academic achievement, and behavioral discipline. Al-Khulaifi explained that the Umrah trip lasted 8 days, and included, in addition to performing Umrah rituals and visiting the Grand Mosque and the Noble Prophet’s Mosque, other visits to the holy sites, a number of well-known shrines and sites, historical mosques and museums located in Makkah and Madinah, and it also included cultural activities and competitions.
